August 9, Day 45 Sick in Sargents, Colorado

Poor Numb Stuff has some sort of stomach bug, could be from the chicken sandwich he ate last night, who knows? He aches all over, is nauseous and has a temperature while feeling cold at the same time. We decide to take a cabin at the RV park and stay here a day, hoping he will be able to get through it by tomorrow. He's currently in bed trying to sleep it off. Everybody keep their fingers crossed that he gets better!

    I do hope Matt is on the mend and all is well. My thoughts go with you both and I'm sad to see that you seem past the halfway point, because your diaries have been a wonderful distraction!

    That being said, I do wonder sometimes if the route for your trip was planned by simply drawing lines from one micro-brewery to the next. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
