Julie and Matt left this afternoon from Palm Springs Airport to Kalispell, MT. If all goes well, they will hook up with Susan in Denver on their connection flights. Susan left several hours ago on her long journey from the U.K.

Once in Kalispell, they will all make their way via cab to Whitefish where Matt rented a house by the lake to stay a few days. While in Whitefish, they will rebuild their bikes, double check their gear, and go out on a few test runs. Their plan is to start out towards Rooseville on June 26. That will be a 60 mile ride up to the border which doesn't even count as part of the route miles yet!! They plan to start their official first day of the Great Divid Route on June 27.

Oh, and also Matt informed me that Whitefish has a couple micro breweries that they will want to check out before they start their ride....go figure.
