Preparation

Matt & Susan first met cycling across USA on the Northern Tier in May-August 2001. This trip ended with a promise to ride together again some day. The idea for the current trip germinated in Palm Springs, when Susan visited Matt in October 2009 and we talked Julie into coming along. Suddenly, all the pieces started to fall into place early 2010 and we began to look at buying bikes in February 2010. Here's our bikes!
