June 25 7:15 am

So we picked up the bikes on weds. Yesterday was our shakedown ride to get the last little kinks out and do some fine tuning. I had my shifting cables replaced, the front and rear derailer's adjusted, air in the front forks and of course air adjustment in the rear shock. Both Matt and I are riding full suspension bikes and susan is on a Thorn bike from the UK.

The weather in whitefish has been incredible. Warm balmy days and cool nights. No rain so far. But you can see the clouds gather along the great divide, so evenings are risky. The sun doesn't set until 9:15 so the days are really long. We are really close to the lake, so there is wildlife everywhere.

The Town is like Boulder Colorado or Woodside. It's a beautiful resort town with great food, microbrews a huge lake for fishing and water sports, skiing in winter and trails everywhere.

Speaking of microbrews, a woman gave us a map of all the microbrewery-locations in Montana.
