Layover Day, 0 miles, 0mph
A much needed day off! We all woke up a little fuzzy this morning from last night’s partying and music events. Believe it or not we actually drank wine from a can…. Not horrible but then again we have been living in the dirt for a couple of weeks now. Lots of characters and people watching here in Butte!
Debbie will rejoin the group this evening from visiting her cousins in Billings, for the past couple days. It will be good to have her back! She'll help keep us in check so that we are on our best behavior this evening as we have two difficult riding days in front of us.
A much needed day off! We all woke up a little fuzzy this morning from last night’s partying and music events. Believe it or not we actually drank wine from a can…. Not horrible but then again we have been living in the dirt for a couple of weeks now. Lots of characters and people watching here in Butte! Today we cleaned up all our gear and washed clothing. We actually got the whites white again with a lot of Spray and Wash and super hot water. Then out for a stroll in the big city as the festival ramped up again around noon. Lunch at John’s Original Pork Chop and then off to the Quarry Brewing Company. We seem to never be able to pass the breweries. I justify all the beer as liquid carbo-loading!
